CLASSES ARE CANCELED NOV. 4-18.

The deeper you can access stillness inside yourself, the more you can                                       recognize the deep intelligence at work which holds everything together.                                                                                                             —Ged Sumner

Louise Applebome, owner/instructor, del norte yoga

MESSAGE FROM LOUISE:

Dear devoted Yogis and friends,

I'm continuing to offer ALL MY CLASSES ON LINE!

I'm using Zoom to bring yoga into your homes.

Together, we can continue to stay fit and strong, and to strive to find balance in our lives. We'll also lower stress and anxiety levels along the way.

It's hard to believe we've passed the four-year mark since the pandemic began and we pivoted to virtual classes.

Meanwhile, many of you have successfully adapted to this new paradigm.  I believe for many, the convenience of practicing in your own homes, from near and far, has only grown in its appeal. Dallas-area traffic has become perilous. And, you get to add the time, not taken up commuting to class, back into your day for more productive use.

COVID doesn't seem to be waning, and its "offspring" are still flourishing; other contaminants seem to have wheedled their way into the atmosphere, too; and we still need to be vigilant about avoiding germs and contagions.
And, those beyond driving distance to del norte yoga, also have quick and easy access to yoga classes from the comfort of their own homes.

So, although virtual yoga classes seemed harebrained and daunting back in March of 2020, I think they've proven to be a darn good idea in many ways, and one that has legs (no pun intended) and will continue to stand the test of time.

Please give yourselves pats on the backs for your discipline and grit. I'm somewhat in awe over the way you have stuck with it; and I am eternally grateful for your loyalty to me and your commitment to taking care of yourselves.

And, with so many troubles in our world, finding peace and austerity "on the mat" is more important now than perhaps ever.

Take a deep breath!
